The Wreck Beach Bare Buns Run/Walk is part of the 2008 "Buns-Across-The-Border" celebration of Naturism.

3. Wreck Beach Bare Buns Run/Walk: Sunday, August 17, 2008 at 12:00 Noon Sharp! Registration opens at 9:30 am at the bottom of Wreck Beach Trail No. 6 in Pacific Spirit Park, Vancouver, BC, Canada. Email registrar@barebuns.ca

Three-Way Run Finishers: At the 2008 Wreck Beach Bare Buns Run, medals will be given to all finishers who participate in all three runs. An official Wreck Beach Preservation Society photographer will be recording the event. Out of respect for others, please do not take pictures without permission, or identifiable close-ups of persons wearing red wristbands. An area will be designated for those wishing to be photographed.

Everybody Wins! Everyone who crosses the finish line receives a Certificate of Participation and top runners win medals. Medals will be awarded to the top three male and female bare buns runners in the following age groups: Under 12; 13 – 16; 17 – 25; 26 – 35; 36 – 45; 46 – 55; 56 – 65; 66+. The run is a 5km circular course and will be an officially timed event. Walking is also welcome!
